Hello, students! You'll want to complete all of the problems in each section. If there is a question with an answer that you don't know, just plug in numbers for now and comment "don't know" at the end. You can move on to another problem and come back to it later. For most questions you need to use the correct sign for negatives or decimals but be careful not to go outside of the range -10 ≤ x ≤ 10 . Once you have completed all of the problems, please fill out this form (https://goo.gl/forms/68bw2NjpSg) with your answers if possible. It would be very helpful if you could fill this out for each problem. The section on Algebra is 1000+ problems. Completion of all 1000+ problems will yield a single graded final exam problem. Read more about this arrangement here (https://goo.gl/7jm8uv) . While you are working on the problems, don't forget to read the notes for this section here (https://goo.gl/8No8u3). At the end of the notes is a summary that contains some hints on how to approach particular problems. Bonus problems: https://goo.gl/forms/rA1YdGYxFIe1qS6h2 The questions below are from a test I've been doing for a year. If you answer them wrong, they will appear on the next quiz about the numbers 0-100 . Read the notes for this section here (https://goo.gl/7GGC4n). There is also an answer key with solutions here (https://goo.gl/KQIMUo). The question stem is not too hard, but difficult ones are marked with an asterisk (*). It would be helpful if you could find these before taking the quiz just in case you don't know them. The questions were designed to be difficult, but you SHOULD be able to figure out the answers to most of them if you know the fundamentals. https://goo.gl/forms/K3H5QmVfLg5cwR2d1 This is an experimental section that I'm trying to gauge interest in for a new course I'm working on: Number Theory . The entire course will contain 100+ problems. About 20 of those will appear as sample questions on the next few quizzes until we ramp up anticipation for the course by not including any hints or solutions. Just as with this section, students who complete all 100+ problems can take a graded final exam problem online. https://goo.gl/forms/xZd4Gv9ZpNfQ9gO92 Also, if you get through all of the problems and would like to get a quick practice final exam, please take this one here (https://goo.gl/forms/tEIi2IMFq1oOpBM52). I will grade it at the end of the period so that we can check that your answers "line up" with others. You won't be able to see your individual results until I grade everyone's tests because I don't want you to be able to cheat by comparing someone else's solution to yours. cfa1e77820
